If you have not seen Strung Out, then you are missing one of the best bands in the entire Midwest. And this is no exageration on my part. Classic rock executed to perfection with the highest level of musicianship along with amazing vocals and harmonies. I've seen them 3 times and they have not let me down yet. You will hear songs that no other bands will dare touch like Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein", Zeppelin signature tunes , as well very familiar top 40 rock classics. And when you add an electric cello and violin to keys, bass, guitar and drums, you know it's gonna be special. These are real musicians, some of the best around, 100% live, who get the job done and the audiences love it. I encourage you to check them out and enjoy the ride!

Ventured out to see "Strung Out." I was stunned.
When a band opens with Steely Dan's Bodhisattva - and nails it - you know you're in the presence of seasoned musicians. I was enthralled. Jeff James on drums and John Chisari on bass provide the rock on which the band stands. Tom Culver's superb cello playing – that has to be seen and heard to be believed, coupled with Ted Spaniak's soulful feel for his guitar, brought me to the musical edge.
And the vocals? Harmonies as good as it gets, led by Jeff Sismelich's rare talented range to sing and play anything put before him. Overall, it was a truly inspiring and entertaining musical experience. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening.

I gotta say I was quite impressed. My first time to see the band and I was not ready to hear what I did. Stunning vocals and harmonies were spot on. The musical talent and styling's have to be seen and heard. The material selection is something you may never hear other bands do in any club anywhere and they are done with punch and flair. From Zep and Deep Purple to the Monkees and Elvin Bishop. They are an extremely talented bunch of guys playing a variety of styles that will only leave you with clapping for more.
